Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Manufacturing Value Platform and its related properties — mfgvalueplatform.com, mfg-surveys.com, mfgusecases.com, and valuemaps.com (together, the "Platform"), operated by Visual Decisions Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

The Manufacturing Value Platform is the umbrella for Visual Decisions Inc.'s manufacturing tools — structured maturity assessments, a use-case library, and value analysis — and the home for company workspaces that consolidate assessments, initiatives, and value analysis. Users take department-level surveys and receive personalized results including visualizations, gap analysis, optional AI-generated executive summaries, and curated use-case recommendations. Some features are available only on paid plans, as described at checkout or in an applicable order.

3. Accounts

You may sign in using a valid Google account, Microsoft account, or by creating an email-and-password account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid Plans. If you subscribe to a paid plan, it is billed as selected at checkout (monthly or annually). Payments are processed by Stripe.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.

Price Changes. We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Refunds. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at support@mfgvalueplatform.com within 7 days of a charge if you believe a refund is warranted.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute Platform content, assessment questions, or results for commercial purposes without written permission
• Submit false or deliberately misleading responses intended to corrupt aggregate benchmark data
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Use automated tools to access the Platform at scale
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Platform

6. Assessment Data & Results

The assessments are self-reported diagnostic tools. Results reflect the information you provide and are intended for informational and improvement-planning purposes. We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the assessment results or recommendations.

You retain ownership of your assessment responses and the data you submit. We may use anonymized, aggregated data derived from responses across users for industry benchmarking, research, and Platform improvement — no individual responses or identifying information are shared.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including assessment frameworks, questions, pillars, process areas, scoring methodology, analyses, implementation guides, and value models, is owned by Visual Decisions Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform and your results for your own internal business purposes. This license does not include the right to republish, distribute, or create derivative works from our content. You retain ownership of the data you submit and your personal assessment results, and may share them as you see fit.

8. AI-Generated Content

Some Platform features generate content with the assistance of third-party AI services (for example, executive summaries and value narratives). Requesting an AI summary is opt-in; your aggregate scores, without personally identifying information, are transmitted to the AI provider at the time of request. AI-generated content is illustrative and should be reviewed critically. We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Content, assessment results, and recommendations are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Visual Decisions Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Illinois.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
